Hello /fat/, Fatty Jr. (!FATJRxI8R.) here. Welcome to the Fatty Contest! This is a continuation of the fatty contest that was being run by the doctor (!fattyP5UR2).
The contest is made of legs that last 8 weeks. Each weekend, the contestants submit their entries and are scored based on how good they did compared to their previous entry of the same leg. And at the end of the 8 weeks, the contestant with the highest score will win the leg and claim his eternal place in HALL OF ACCLAIM
You can join even in the middle of a leg, you don't have to wait until a new one starts. You will be only partially scored for that leg and will be less likely to "win", but as long as you are trying and making progress, you are a winner! Be it going for the win, trying to lose weight and make yourself accountable or simply just posting to keep track of your weight, as long as the contest is helping you achieve your goals you can use it any way you see fit.
Use the following formats and post on /fat/ to join while the script is active. Height is optional for now that might change in the future. You only need to post your height once. The contest will remember it for the future and will also give you BMI information. At some point I will add support for target weight but haven't decided how to do that yet.

The script checks /fat/ threads of /fit/ board on every 1-2 minutes and updates the "Weekly Entries" section if there are new submissions.
Pick something simple for your name so you won't mistype or forget it in the future. Names are not case sensitive, if you use "Fatty_XxX_69" one week and "fatty_xxx_69" in another, they will be treated as the same person.
The syntax is quite forgiving. You can use lb(s)/kg(s)/pound(s) as weight units. If you don't specify one (when you just enter a number) it will be considered as lb. You can use " and '/feet(s)/m/cm as height units. You can use non-integer numbers in your submission.
Height will be used for calculating BMI. You only need to submit your height once and it will be used for all future entries as well.
The submission can be included in any part of your message. The script should be able to pick it up as long as "Fatty Contest" is at the start of a new line and the submission is formatted correctly.
The system will ignore your entry if it can't parse it correctly. So if your entry is not there after a few minutes then check "Current Threads" section. If "Last Update" column is past the time you posted your entry, then it means something wrong with its format.
You can submit multiple entries each week but the only the last one will be accepted. So if you make a mistake, you can fix it by submit another entry to fix it.
HALL OF ACCLAIMThe contestants that score highest in a leg will be forever remembered as part of this list.
